...a new kind of narrator is born: no longer a man who describes things he sees, but at the same time a man who invents the things around him and who sees the things he invents.

The Angler is a magazine for readers, drinkers, thinkers, and idlers. Three times a year I send a new issue to your snail mail box.

I also write novels. I write a novel every November during National Novel Writing Month.

The Beer Hall is a public diary of what's going on that I don't mind sharing with the world. As the name suggests, beer is a recurring theme.

I'm also compiling The Beer Hall Guide to Long Island.

If you want to know what all of this about, you should look inside Donavan's Brain.

I talk into a microphone and say things about what I see and think. I edit this kind of talking into 20 to 30 minute long mp3 files and call it a podcast. What I talk about the most is beer, Long Island, and pub culture. The podcast is called Radio Beer Hall.
